Destinations for the New Year
If you are planning on doing something for New Year’s in your RV, be sure to have it checked out before you leave. And, because others might have the same idea as you, you may want to make reservations at your favorite RV park near these destinations.
Visit Navy Pier in Illinois to enjoy tons of events on Lake Michigan. Even the kids can enjoy some celebrating at the New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Chicago Children’s Museum during the day; and then at night, the Grand Ballroom and the Crystal Gardens hold the two biggest parties in the city. Visit the Moser Tower in Naperville to see the 72 bronze bells. The smallest bell is 10 pounds and the biggest bell is 6 tons. You’ll hear the bells toll six octaves. You’ll hear them twice on New Year’s Eve. The first time will be at 6:00 p.m. so the kids can enjoy them and then again starting at 11:15 p.m. A concert leads up to the countdown. Howl at the Moon
Visit Howl at the Moon in Indianapolis for one of the best party nights with a dueling piano bar. General admission is $45 and that includes a champagne toast and party favors. Join the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana for their annual masquerade ball. Every year has a theme. Nonmember admission is $45 and the ball will be held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
